Soudal Quick-Step has also unveiled their octet for the Tour de France. The Belgian WorldTour team did so through an engaging video, where each participating rider gets a chance to speak.

In the one-and-a-half-minute video, we first hear from team leader Evenepoel, who shares how his love for the Tour (and the yellow jersey) began. "For me, it all started with the duels between Alberto Contador and Andy Schleck. I've always dreamed of something like that."

Provided that the Aerobullet of Schepdaal has become slightly lighter since the Critérium du Dauphiné, he ranks among the formidable outsiders in the battle for the yellow jersey. Patrick Lefevere's team isn’t bringing a sprinter, so there’s a lot of confidence in the young Flemish rider, who can count on significant support.

In the mountain stages, Evenepoel can rely on assistance from Jan Hirt, Mikel Landa, and his faithful lieutenant Ilan Van Wilder. In the flat and transitional stages, Gianni Moscon, Louis Vervaeke, Casper Pedersen, and Yves Lampert will serve as his main helpers.
