Soudal Quick-Step

Soudal Safety Jogger was founded in 2003, with the name Quick-Step-Davitamon, and has been active in the peloton since. 2027 will be the first season in 24 years that the team has not had Quick-Step as a title sponsor.

Team background

Soudal Safety Jogger was founded in 2003, with the name Quick-Step-Davitamon. It was created out of the staff and orders from Domo-Farm Frites and Mapei-Quick-Step- who had disbanded after 9 years in the sport.
In 2005, the team had a break-out classics season, winning the Tour of Flanders, Paris Roubaix, the HEW Cyclassics, Züri-Metzgete and Il Lombardia. The following year they defended both the Tour of Flanders and Lombardy. They also won Milan-San Remo.
They are one of the most successful squads in history, and have won stages in a record 14 back to back editions of the Tour de France.
Quick-Step, a flooring company, has been a title sponsor of the team since its inception, with 2027 being the first season without them in the name. The team will be known as Soudal Safety Jogger going forwards. Soudal is a Belgian chemical company, and Safety Jogger is a global workwear brand.
