Ben Healy

Ben Healy, born on September 11, 2000, rides for the EF Education–EasyPost team and holds the title of Irish national champion in both road racing and time trialing. He was selected to represent Ireland in the road race at the 2020 UCI Road World Championships.
With roots in England and Irish heritage from his father's side, Healy made the choice early on to represent Ireland, a decision that has propelled him through the ranks of professional cycling. His early career saw wins at prestigious youth races like the Tour de l'Avenir and the Baby Giro, setting the stage for what was to come.
His breakout year came in 2023, marked by a series of impressive performances during the spring classics season. Notably, he won the GP Industria & Artigianato di Larciano and landed podium finishes in the Amstel Gold Race, alongside cycling giants Tadej Pogačar and Tom Pidcock, and in the Brabantse Pijl. A strong fourth-place finish in Liège–Bastogne–Liège further solidified his reputation as a formidable competitor.
Following his successful classics season, Healy made his grand tour debut in the 2023 Giro d'Italia, and on 13 May won his first grand tour stage a week later, winning after a solo break of 50 kilometres on stage 8.
