Odd Christian Eiking has been announced as the 25th rider for Unibet Tietema Rockets in 2025. The 29-year-old Norwegian, who famously wore the red leader’s jersey in the 2021 Vuelta a España for several stages, joins the team from Uno-X and is expected to deliver valuable points for Bas Tietema’s squad next season.

Eiking began his professional career in 2014 with the Norwegian Joker team before moving to the WorldTour with FDJ after two seasons. Following two years with the French team, he joined Intermarché, where he achieved his biggest successes over a four-year stint. He then rode for EF Education-EasyPost in 2022 and 2023 but found himself without a team for a period.

Uno-X eventually provided him with an opportunity, signing him in February. While his time with the team lasted only one season, he did ride the Tour de France this year, finishing 34th in the general classification. To date, Eiking has three professional wins to his name: Boucles de l'Aulne in 2017 and stage victories in the Tour of Norway and the Tour of Wallonia.

For the Unibet Tietema Rockets, who will compete under a French license in 2025, Eiking is the sixth new signing. The team has already announced the arrivals of Giovanni Carboni, Wessel Mouris, Kilian Verschuren, Lukas Kubik, and Sergio Meris.
