Here we go again, with the Twitter mystery - or, instead, the X-mystery - called Mou. During the Tour de France, many people were already curious about the man or woman behind the alter-ego who made several revelations, and this time, he is writing about Primoz Roglic. Mou is not exactly a fan of the Slovenian Vuelta winner, we can safely say...
First, let's briefly return to February. That's when Mou launched himself on the Cyclingnews forum,
where he immediately stood out with bold statements. There, he/she claimed to have inside info on the ins and outs of UAE-Team Emirates, where the predictions and statements about Tadej Pogacar were remarkable.
Some of February's statements were entirely accurate during the Tour in July. He/she launched himself by claiming insight into Pogacar's training but also made many statements about Pogi's (former) trainers and who within the UAE team would or would not like to work for the Slovenian. Mou was removed from Cyclingnews at a certain point but found his way back to X, where he has made himself heard again.
"Roglic is the king of the crumbs left by the really big boys"
Where Mou first seemed to focus mainly on certain revelations and predictions, he now appears to be a solid fan of highly critical (or insulting?) notes. Indeed, on Monday night, he confronted freshman Vuelta a España winner Roglic. Where Roglic's trainer Marc Lamberts, for example, talked about how incredibly clever his poulain's victory was, Mou argues that the Vuelta victory does not mean much. "People don't understand how bad the level was this Vuelta. So bad that Enric Mas and Richard Carapaz, both without altitude training and tired after the Tour, were only a minute behind Roglic deep into the third week," said the still anonymous figure.
"Roglic is the king of the crumbs left by the big boys. 2025 will prove it again," it continued, followed by a soccer comparison. "Roglic was raped in the Champions League of cycling (the Tour) and joined the Europa League (the Vuelta). He won those by defeating Villareal (Mas), Aston Villa (Mikel Landa), and Stuttgart (Carapaz)."

Mou originates from Croatia
The fact remains that Mou is an anonymous Internet figure, although, in one of his subsequent tweets, he did reveal that Croatia is his/her country of birth. Indeed, in a tweet dedicated to the popularity difference between Pogacar and Roglic in Slovenia, one can read a text in Croatian. "Sorry, neighbors," the text then read.
