The wildcards for Paris-Roubaix have been announced. The 'Hell of the North' will mark the debut in a Monument for Unibet Tietema Rockets, the Dutch team racing under a French license. They will line up alongside Tom Pidcock's Q36.5 Pro Cycling, Tudor Pro Cycling, and TotalEnergies, all of whom have been granted spots for the iconic cobbled classic.

This is a first for Unibet Tietema Rockets, led by Bas Tietema. The 29-year-old Dutchman returns to the race where he reignited his professional cycling career. In 2022, he competed in Paris-Roubaix with Bingoal Pauwels Sauces WB, just months after returning to professional racing following a four-year hiatus. Although he finished outside the time limit, it was a symbolic comeback. The team, previously known as TDT-Unibet, already competed in a WorldTour classic last year, lining up for the Amstel Gold Race.

For Q36.5 Pro Cycling, this will be their second consecutive Paris-Roubaix, having debuted in 2024. Last year, Polish rider Kamil Małecki was the team’s top finisher, crossing the line in 18th place. In 2025, they’ll have a potential race contender in Tom Pidcock, though his participation is not yet confirmed. Pidcock is focusing on an Italian spring campaign, including Strade Bianche and Milan-San Remo, before possibly targeting the Giro d’Italia, provided the team secures a wildcard for the Grand Tour.

Cancellara also returns to familiar grounds

Tudor Pro Cycling, the Swiss team owned by cycling legend Fabian Cancellara, will also make its Paris-Roubaix debut. Cancellara, a three-time winner of the race, brings a legacy of success to the event. Tudor has a strong roster for their debut, including stars like Julian Alaphilippe and Marc Hirschi, as well as powerhouse riders such as Matteo Trentin and Marco Haller. With such a lineup, the team is brimming with quality and ambition.

The 2025 Paris-Roubaix is scheduled to take place on April 13, promising yet another epic battle on the cobblestones.
