📸 Van der Poel goes wild! With this unique racing bike, Mathieu can be seen in Tirreno-Adriatico from now on

Mathieu van der Poel will no longer ride his white Canyon bike from the second stage of the Tirreno-Adriatico. The cyclist from Alpecin-Deceuninck received a unique bike from his supplier, Canyon: the Canyon Wild Aeroad CFR.

Italian artist Elena Salmistraro has redesigned Van der Poel's road bike. Canyon announced in a press release that Van der Poel will only ride bikes designed by Salmistraro. The Dutchman's team even has several spare bikes designed by Salmistraro available.

"Salmistraro's stunning design incorporates bright, bold fingerprints of colour in a colour kaleidoscopic palette, making for a perfect combination of modernity and fun, ideal for attracting attention," it says.
