For Redegeld, the opportunity to join Ajax was too good to pass up. "I’ve had a wonderful time with this team and am deeply grateful for the fantastic collaboration with all the riders and staff. Together, we achieved significant success, and nutrition became an essential part of that. I’m proud that it has now become a foundational pillar within the team. The Dutch cycling team now needs to find a solution for this staffing gap, as it undergoes broader changes this winter. On October 1, Merijn Zeeman left his role as sporting director to join soccer club AZ, leaving a restructured five-person management team in place.
