- Vamos Brandon! Top 10 in the chrono y motor en la montaña. Con Pog, el maillot jaune está muy cerca.

- Slightly skeptical tbh. Article reads like a team press release. Where’s the analysis of rival squads? Visma and Ineos won’t just gift UAE the TTT, and Solaison in July heat can flip the script if pacing goes wrong.

- Pogačar’s confidence is insane. “If he says ride, he’ll win the stage” — that’s peak Pog. Also don’t sleep on Del Toro; he can float in the medium mountains and save McNulty for the HC stuff. Depth looks scary.

- Quick question: when it says “back to back ascent of Alpe d’Huez,” is that literally two climbs in the same stage, or two consecutive stages? Bit confused there.

- Brilliant read. McNulty looked rock solid in Suisse — that Stage 1 tempo was savage and you could see half the bunch popping. If he carries that to the TDF, TTT in Barcelona could put UAE-XRG in yellow straight away.

- Fifth at Châteaulin isn’t a miracle, but it’s a sign. Let him skip GC pressure in July, send him to the Tour for stage raids with a light roster. If they insist on top-5 GC or bust, ça va mal finir.

- I remember when he marked Roglic on the Angliru and people thought he’d be France’s next GC. Since then it’s up and down. But throwing him under the bus in the press? Pas classe, franchement.

- The salary chatter feels a bit tabloid. FDJ built him up as a GC leader after L’Avenir and LBL podium — they can’t be shocked he isn’t Pog/Vingo/Rog level. Maybe reset his targets: Ardennes, one-weekers, and opportunistic Vuelta/Tour stages. He’s 29, not done.

- Is 499th in the UCI rankings really accurate? That seems insanely low for someone who won a Vuelta stage just last year. How are those points calculated across seasons?

- That Boucles de l'Aulne ride was the first time in ages Gaudu looked lively. If he can hold that punch on short climbs and get a clean run of health, there’s still a role for him as a stage hunter. Fourth at the Tour in 2022 wasn’t a fluke.
