Pavel Sivakov

Pavel Alekseyevich Sivakov, born on July 11, 1997, is a professional cyclist of French nationality, currently competing for UCI WorldTeam UAE Team Emirates. Born in Italy to Russian former cyclists Alexei Sivakov and Aleksandra Koliaseva, he was raised in Soueich, France, and initially competed for Russia before switching his sporting nationality to France in March 2022, distancing himself from Russia due to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Turning professional in 2018 with Team Sky, Sivakov quickly made his mark in the pro peloton. He achieved his first professional victory at the Tour of the Alps in April 2019, securing the overall win. That same year, he showcased his Grand Tour capabilities with a ninth-place finish at the Giro d'Italia and clinched the overall victory at the Tour de Pologne.

In the subsequent seasons, Sivakov continued to deliver strong performances. In 2022, he claimed the overall title at the Vuelta a Burgos and secured a second place at the Clásica de San Sebastián. The following year, 2023, saw him winning the Giro della Toscana and earning podium finishes at the Grand Prix Cycliste de Montréal and Coppa Sabatini, alongside top-ten finishes in several other prestigious races, underscoring his versatility and consistency.
