Cédrine Kerbaol will no longer ride for CERATIZIT-WNT Pro Cycling in 2025. The French rider, who claimed victory during the rain-soaked Tre Valli Varesine in October, has parted ways with the team by mutual agreement, as announced in an Instagram post. Kerbaol also performed well in the recent Tour de France Femmes, winning the sixth stage and finishing sixth in the overall standings. In 2023, she won the white jersey in the Tour. This year, she also finished in the top ten at the Tour of Catalonia, as well as in the Tour de Romandie. This makes the 23-year-old from Brittany one of the most promising talents in stage racing within the peloton.

Kerbaol leaves due to CERATIZIT’s lack of a WorldTour license: "We respect her decision"
The team announced that Kerbaol’s departure is due to the uncertainty surrounding its WorldTour license, which would make the team reliant on wildcards. Riders had the option to leave if the license did not materialize, and Kerbaol exercised that clause in her contract. It remains to be seen which team the talented stage racer will join. Meanwhile, the team stated that the necessary paperwork for WorldTour status has been submitted to the UCI, although this did not convince the French rider to stay.
Team manager Claude Sun reflected on her departure. "Naturally, we're disappointed to see Cédrine depart in this way but we respect her decision and wish her all the best for the road ahead. As a team, we can proudly look back on our most successful season in our history, one that spans 10 years now since our beginnings back in the UK. We look ahead with excitement to our 11th season in 2025 and our second in the WorldTour, welcoming several talented young riders as part of a new team lineup."
