There was no Tadej Pogacar at last Tuesday's Tour de France route presentation in Paris. The UAE Team Emirates Slovenian is currently enjoying a well-deserved vacation with his partner Urska Zigart, but meanwhile,
friend/colleague Matteo Trentin announces that Pogacar will indeed be present at an event he organized in Monaco at the end of November. Pogacar took advantage of the logistical opportunity to travel to his holiday destination after visiting sponsors in the United Arab Emirates, so he could not be in Paris. He will return home on November 24, giving him time for his friend Trentin's event.
For the third time, Monaco will host the Beking event, a project that promotes cycling at all levels and thus aims to raise awareness as a means of mobility. Even founder Trentin realizes you don't have better ambassadors than the Monaco-based world champion and superstar from Slovenia.
"I am proud that Tadej will show his world champion's jersey in the streets of Monaco. It is a great honor for us, and the public will be very pleased to see the world champion in action from so close. It demonstrates how important our sport can be in society and everyday life."

So, Pogacar will appear with his partner Zigart, but he is certainly not the only WorldTour rider present at the criterium on November 24. Good friend Michal Matthews, compatriot Matej Mohoric, UAE teammate Tim Wellens, Elia Viviani and his partner Elena Cecchini, Movistar rider Davide Formolo, and former World Champion Mads Pedersen have also already been announced, but more are to follow.
In addition to cyclists, other prominent figures will also be present at the event. For example, Croatian tennis player Marin Cilic will also be present, as will F1 driver Oliver Bearman and former Formula One driver Antonio Giovinazzi. Furthermore, we will also see former racers Nicolas Roche, Manuel Quinziato, and Thor Hushovd at the event.
