Unibet Tietema Rockets has joined the MPCC. The French team, founded by Bas Tietema, wants to maintain its credibility. The union reports the partnership and its formation on its own website.
The MPCC, which stands for Mouvement Pour un Cyclisme Crédible ( movement for trustworthy cycling), is an active union committed to a clean cycling world. For example, it has a stricter anti-doping policy than the UCI. Quite a few top teams have joined the union, and with the arrival of Tietema Unibet Rockets, only Polti-VisitMalta is missing from the pro-continental teams. The MPCC is delighted that the former Dutch team has joined. "We enthrust them to become active players in the fight against doping, at a time when suspicions are far from over, and to take action to make cycling even more credible on other issues such as riders' health and safety in races."
Team founder Tietema commented on the MPCC website about the collaboration. "We strongly value fairness and transparency in cycling. By becoming a member of the MPCC, we want to demonstrate our responsibility not only to our riders and staff but also to the sport and its fans worldwide. We believe that collaborating with the MPCC will help us set an example and strengthen trust in cycling. Furthermore, we affirm our commitment to abide by the MPCC's Rules of Procedure."

The pro-continental formation will begin its third year in cycling. Meanwhile, it is making considerable progress. For example, riders like Giovanni Carboni and Odd Christian Eiking were announced as new arrivals. On January 1, it was mentioned that the team had partnered with Charvieu-Chavagneux Isère Cyclisme, a French team. This amateur team will act as a developing team where talents at Tietema Unibet Rockets can develop and grow.
