Cat Ferguson will kick off her cyclo-cross season in mid-December. The 18-year-old British rider, who has been with Movistar Teams since August and
became double world junior road champion this year, will compete in 14 races, including the cyclo-cross World Championships.
Ferguson had a solid year on the road as U23 and signed with the Spanish team until 2027. Movistar has struck gold. It also means that the Spaniards are venturing into unknown territory: cyclo-cross.

Ferguson is looking forward to it himself. "I am grateful for the support of the team and sponsors for the upcoming cyclo-cross season. The team has confidence in me, and the support I get from them is evident in their willingness to try something new and venture onto the muddy fields of the north."
"This is my first year with the U23 and elite riders. I can't wait to get started. I want to learn as much as I can. For now, there is also no pressure to perform and ride good results," concluded the double world road champion in the juniors.
