A stunning lineup is traveling to the Renewi Tour on behalf of INEOS Grenadiers. The British team's seven-man squad could hardly be better. Former Tour de France winner Geraint Thomas returns to Belgium, where the highlights of his cycling career began. This will be the first race for the Welshman since the Tour.
And they aren’t lacking in big names either. Former world time trial champion Tobias Foss is also heading to the Low Countries, along with Italian powerhouse Filippo Ganna, who has also been the best in that discipline. Elia Viviani is the seasoned man on duty. The Italian sprinter is no longer at his peak, but he brings a wealth of experience.
Who else is at the start? Even more quality riders. Classics specialists Ben Turner and Magnus Sheffield will also make their appearance. Sheffield, in particular, seems to be a contender for the general classification, especially given his time-trialing skills, though Ganna, Thomas and perhaps Foss are also in contention. Salvatore Puccio completes the group as the third Italian.
