After the first stage, Lorena Wiebes also claimed victory in the second stage of the UAE Tour for women. The 24-year-old Dutch sprinter secured the win in the bunch sprint following another flawless lead-out from Lotte Kopecky. Wiebes thereby further solidified her position atop the general classification.
Wiebes held fond memories of Al Mirfa, the starting point for the stage, as she had emerged victorious in the village last year, which had served as the finish line at the time. Notably absent from the United Arab Emirates due to illness was Charlotte Kool, who had finished behind Wiebes in the previous edition.
Although the stage was initially expected to be another quiet, flat affair covering 113 kilometers, SD-Worx ProTime had other plans. The Dutch super team unexpectedly ramped up the pace 80 kilometers from the finish, shattering the peloton. SD Worx positioned four riders at the front, including Wiebes, Kopecky, Femke Markus, and Barbara Guarischi. Following closely behind were riders such as Emma Norsgaard, Loes Adegeest, Rachele Barbieri, Pfeiffer Georgi, Georgia Baker, Wilma Olausson, and Romy Kasper. However, a stroke of misfortune struck Kopecky with a puncture, offering the peloton a final opportunity to regroup, an opportunity they seized.

After everything was reset, Uzbek rider Yanina Kuskova (Tashkent City Women Professional Cycling Team) managed to break away from the peloton, but it was too late to prevent a bunch sprint. Meanwhile, Lotte Kopecky dominated the intermediate sprints uncontested, earning a valuable five-second bonus for the general classification.
Despite a few potential opportunities for breakaways, the peloton remained intact until reaching the finishing town of Madinat Zayed.
