A remarkable new collaboration on behalf of Visma | Lease a Bike emerged. The Dutch team, which often explores new options regarding innovation and the latest gadgets, will collaborate with ROUVY. The team announced in a press release that this indoor cycling app should ensure that routes and races will be almost lifelike for riders to see on screens.
Previously, Visma | Lease a Bike brought a control room to races. The new collaboration with ROUVY especially emphasizes race preparation for riders. Mathieu Heijboer, who often looks into such technical gadgets, explains the added value of the new cooperation. "With ROUVY, we can build and simulate precise routes for training or race recons."

"This enables us to prepare our riders under real-world conditions while considering the challenges of specific terrains - even from thousands of miles away." Leader and key rider within the team, Jonas Vingegaard, is also enthusiastic about the app. "Being able to train on ROUVY's real routes allows me to recon and prepare race routes I'd otherwise not be able to access due to weather or travel. It's invaluable for ensuring I'm prepared, no matter where I am."
We know from Vingegaard that he likes to spend time in Denmark, away from the mountainous terrain where he excels precisely. "The Route Creator feature allows both riders and coaches to simulate precise route profiles, making it a great asset for pre-race reconnaissance, even during bad weather." The company itself is also pleased and convinced of the added value of the routes. "This collaboration provides the tools and experience that professionals and dedicated amateurs need to excel," stated ROUVY CEO Peter Samek.
